Timberline PK8’s Weekly Digital Newsletter
January 13, 2025
Principal’s Den
Dear Timberline Families,
This week, we are beginning our ACCESS Listening, Reading and Writing Assessments, and we will move onto Speaking next week. Over 300 students at Timberline have a first language other than English and that’s something we are very proud of at our school! The ACCESS assessment gives us important information about our students’ proficiency in English so we can ensure they have every opportunity for success.
Our Family/ Teacher conferences will be taking place on Tuesday, 1/28, Thursday, 1/30, and Wednesday, 2/5. Students will be bringing home conference forms, but you can also find a link with our conference letter here. At Timberline, our goal is to meet with 100% of families during the conference window. You are, after all, the best resource we have to provide your students with a world class education. #powerofthepack
We are featuring all of the amazing things happening in our classrooms on social media. You can find us at:

Best wishes,

Cold Weather is Here
Winter weather is here! Students should come to school properly dressed for the weather. We will be going outside during the school day at lunch recess when the temperature is at or above 20 degrees Fahrenheit. As the temperatures get colder, students are encouraged to have the following items: winter hat for outside, gloves/mittens, and warm and dry shoes. Please make sure that your child has the right clothing for them to feel comfortable both inside and outside of the building.

Silver Creek Dance Team is hosting a Mini Raptors Clinic on January 25th at Blue Mountain Elementary. See the flyer attached! They offer reduced prices for students who qualify for Free and Reduced lunches. Athletes will receive a t-shirt, bow and learn choreography to perform at a basketball game!
