Principal’s Den

Dear Wolfpack Families,

Happy October! We had a fantastic week of fun last week with hosting Colorado Proud School Meal Day, the Wolf Chase Fun Run, Classroom Conferences, AND school pictures. It was wonderful to see so many parents at the different events. We greatly appreciate your partnership!

The Wolf Chase Fun Run was incredibly successful with just over $10,000 being raised for instructional supplies, field trips, and special programs for our school. We were overwhelmed by the support! Prizes will be awarded over the next two weeks.

Also, we are featuring all of the amazing things happening in our classrooms on social media. You can find us at:

Padres Involucrados en La Educación/Parents Involved in Education is excited to bring another year of programming to our families. PIE has been offering programming since the fall of 2008, so we are officially in our 16th school year of programming and partnership with SVVSD and families.

Please see the fall calendar here for upcoming learning sessions and please help us spread the word! The next session is Tuesday, October 8th from 5:15-7:30pm with dinner served 5:15-6pm. The topic is Communication With Ourselves, Our Children, and Others. There is a hybrid option for families to join online if they cannot attend in person. PIE now offers organized and scheduled children’s activities during the parent learning session.

Trunk or Treat: Our second annual Trunk or Treat will take place on Friday, October 25th at Timberline PK-8. If you are able to donate candy for the event, please reach out to Maria Aldaba, our Family Liaison, in the Main Office. Please join us for a fun evening!

Halloween Parade: We will have a student costume parade on the morning of Halloween. Please read here for information about the HOWL-O-Ween parade.
