Timberline PK8’s Weekly Digital Newsletter
April 7, 2025

Principal’s Den
Dear Timberline Families,
Our third through eighth grade students will begin their state assessments this week. They have been working hard to prepare, and the entire school has participated in a door decorating contest to make sure our students feel supported in their efforts!
Have you received your copy of the St. Vrain magazine, “Lift Off?” If not, we have additional copies in the office for you. There are some amazing articles in the journal, including highlights of the St. Vrain Advantage. Did you know that St. Vrain has the lowest drop-out rate of any district in the Denver Metro area – 0.4%! Thank you for your continued partnership to support student success!
We are featuring all of the amazing things happening in our classrooms on social media. You can find us at:
As always, our administrative team and office team are here to support you and your children. Please reach out with any questions you might have. Thank you for your partnership and for your continued support of the Timberline Wolfpack! #powerofthepack
Best wishes,
Audrey Seybold, Principal
Leader of the Pack

CMAS Date
We have our Colorado state assessments coming up! Students in grades 3-8 will be participating in CMAS April 8th-18th. Please make every effort to support your students with getting to school on time, encouraging your students to get a good nights’ rest, and to stay confident and focused as they work on the assessments. These assessments give teachers a better understanding of how students are responding to instruction over the course of the year, and we use this information to plan our next steps for instruction.

CU Boulder K-12 “Dia de Ciencias”/”Day of Science”
SHPE: The Society for Professional Hispanic Engineers, wants the opportunity to reach out to students in K-12 to get more Hispanic-identifying students immersed in STEM (science, technology, engineering, and math) fields. Allow me to share a few highlights about the organization! We are a student-led organization that focuses on the advancement of Hispanics in STEM fields, our mission is to help create undergraduate student leaders on campus and help connect them to industry professionals to further their engineering career. We are part of a national organization with large-scale goals to increase the small percentage of Hispanics in the professional STEM workforce. Our team has worked very hard to plan a full-day outreach event aimed at K-12 students and families interested in STEM, more specifically engineering.
SHPE CU Boulder is inviting your school’s students to our 3rd annual Dia de Ciencias on April 12th, 2025 to our CU Boulder campus from 9:00am to 3:00 pm. We have a full day of STEM projects and activities scheduled for the students, and a light breakfast and lunch will be provided. This event is free for all students who attend.
