Principal’s Den

Dear Timberline Families,

This is our last week before spring break, and both our middle school Track and Field and the city soccer league are starting. If you need help with registering your student for either opportunity, please contact the main office.

We will be talking with every grade level about our Spring Break Reading Challenge, and our Cafecito this Friday at 8:30am is focused on reading.  More information about both the Reading Challenge and Cafecito can be found below.

We are featuring all of the amazing things happening in our classrooms on social media. You can find us at:

Spring Break Reading Challenge

We are encouraging students to READ, READ, READ over spring break. Our school-wide goal is to read 150,000 minutes on myON, Sora, and Learning Ally over Spring Break! That means each student would read about 200 minutes. If we meet this goal for our school, we will have a popsicles and a DJ Dance Party! In addition, classes can win a prize off of the Reading Challenge choice board if they are the class with the most minutes read.

Theatre Performance for Families

Friends and family of Timberline PK-8: You are invited to attend a free upcoming Mini Música: The Three Little Pigs performance at the Longmont Museum and Cultural Center on Saturday, March 22nd at 10:00am or 11:30am.

The beloved children’s tale, The Three Little Pigs comes to life in the form of “Mini Música” – an interactive, bilingual educational concert for young audiences. Featuring a 16-piece orchestra and a narrator who dances and sings in English and Spanish, Mini Música is designed to engage young children through a musical telling of a classic children’s story.

You can find more information about The Three Little Pigs on our website and submit a reservation through the Longmont Museum and Cultural Center below:
