Grade Level Newsletters
Each month, teachers will create a grade level newsletter with important information for the month. Teachers will send these directly to families, but we will also link the newsletters in the Howl for you.
PIE
We are happy to invite you to our 10th PIE session: Reducing Stress with the Power of Mindfulness on Tuesday, February 24th, at Rocky Mountain Elementary.
This session will be led by Dra. Lizbeth Mendoza, who is a bilingual physician originally trained in Mexico City. She is passionate about supporting families in caring for their emotional well-being. Dra. Lizbeth Mendoza will guide parents in recognizing and practicing mindfulness to reduce stress, anxiety, and depression, as well as provide tips on improving emotional regulation and sleep quality.
Here’s what to expect:
- Dinner: 5:15–6:00 p.m.
- Parent and children’s sessions: 6:00–7:30 p.m.
Our children’s session will be led by Mimi with Anima Arts, who will guide children in using their breath, moving their bodies, and listening to soothing sounds to support relaxation.

PTO Fundraiser – Panda Express – February 25th


Visitor Identification Reminder
To help us maintain a safe and secure school environment, all visitors are required to carry a valid form of identification when coming to campus. Please be prepared to show your ID to the camera before being granted entry into the building.
We appreciate your cooperation in helping keep our school community safe.
Spirit Day
On Friday, March 13th, our student council would like to have a Tropical Theme Spirit Day. Wear your brightly colored clothing, florals, and sandals!

Accessibility Night at the Innovation Center
The Innovation Center and the SVVSD Accessibility Team are hosting the third annual Accessibility Night, and we would like to spread the word in the community. This event will take place on February 27th, from 4-6pm, and we would love to see you there!


26-27 Preschool Registration
Registration for St. Vrain Valley Schools’ 2026-27 preschool programs begin Dec. 9, 2025. Families can choose from high-quality, five-day programs, including half-day and select full-day options at schools across St. Vrain. The Colorado Universal Preschool (UPK) application is included in St. Vrain’s form, and families are encouraged to apply early for the best chance of placement at their preferred school.
