Principal’s Den
Dear Wolfpack Families,
Welcome to the final week before Spring Break!
This week, we are looking forward to our music concerts, featuring performances from our middle school musicians as well as our 4th and 5th grade students. We’re excited for families to see the hard work our students have put into preparing for these performances.
Our middle school Track and Field season and middle school soccer season are also getting underway, and we wish all of our student-athletes a great start to their seasons.
To add a little fun before the break, we’ll have a tropical-themed Spirit Day on Friday, so students are encouraged to wear their best tropical attire. Finally, we invite families to join us for Cafecito on Friday morning, a great opportunity to connect, learn together, and build community.
Thank you for your continued partnership in supporting our students and school community. We hope you have a wonderful week and look forward to a restful Spring Break ahead! 🌴

We appreciate your cooperation in helping keep our school community safe.
Transportation Update
To continue prioritizing the safety of our students and transportation staff, we will be implementing an adjustment to our drop-off and pick-up procedures. Please read the attached letter for changes starting Monday, 3/23. Thank you!
Spirit Day
On Friday, March 13th, our student council would like to have a Tropical Theme Spirit Day. Wear your brightly colored clothing, florals, and sandals!

Spring Break Reading Challenge
We are encouraging students to READ, READ, READ over spring break. Our school-wide goal is to read 60,000 minutes on myON, Sora, and Learning Ally over Spring Break! That means each student would read about 100 minutes. If we meet this goal for our school, we will have a popsicles and a DJ Dance Party! Check out the Spring Break Reading Challenge flyer as well as the March Madness slidedeck to learn more about our fun reading initiatives.
PIE Session
We are excited to invite you to our 11th PIE session, Supporting Healthy Choices for Youth, Tuesday, March 10th, at Rocky Mountain Elementary. This session will be led by Marinela Mainero-Goodwin, who will guide parents in exploring what helps protect youth and what increases risk for substance use. She will also share insights from Healthy Kids data, comparing our community to state and national trends, and highlight where youth are thriving and how families can offer even more support.
Here’s what to expect:
- Dinner: 5:15–6:00 p.m.
- Parent and children’s sessions: 6:00–7:30 p.m.
Our children’s session, Healthy Choices for Growing Bodies, will help kids learn what keeps their bodies healthy and strong. They will talk about nutritious foods and why they are good for us.
