Timberline PK8’s Weekly Digital Newsletter
March 30, 2026

Principal’s Den
Dear Wolfpack Families,
As we approach state assessment season, a little preparation at home can go a long way in helping students feel confident and ready. Encourage your child to get a good night’s sleep, eat a healthy breakfast, and arrive at school on time each day. You can also support them by maintaining regular routines, offering positive encouragement, and reminding them to simply do their best—these assessments are an opportunity to show what they’ve been learning all year!
We are featuring all of the amazing things happening in our classrooms on social media. You can find us at:

CMAS Dates
We have our Colorado state assessments coming up! Students in grades 3-8 will be participating in CMAS April 7th-17th. Please make every effort to support your students with getting to school on time, encouraging your students to get a good nights’ rest, and to stay confident and focused as they work on the assessments. These assessments give teachers a better understanding of how students are responding to instruction over the course of the year, and we use this information to plan our next steps for instruction.

ParentSquare: Our New District Communication Tool
St. Vrain Valley Schools will begin using ParentSquare, a new district communication tool that allows families to receive notifications based on their preferences. St. Vrain’s communications team will pilot ParentSquare for the remainder of the school year with the plan to expand access to schools at the start of the 2026-27 school year. We’re excited about the opportunities ParentSquare offers to streamline communication and will be working towards consolidating several of the tools families currently use into one convenient platform.
After spring break, parents and guardians will receive an email invitation to activate their ParentSquare account. This will allow families to download the mobile app, set language preferences, and choose how and when they receive notifications.
Visit the district website to learn more about ParentSquare.
