Timberline PK8’s Weekly Digital Newsletter
September 9, 2024

Principal’s Den
Dear Wolfpack Families,
A huge thank you to those of you that attended the parade to support public education on Saturday! It was a wonderful celebration of the amazing things happening across our school district.
September is Attendance Awareness Month! The routines your child develops early will continue throughout their school years. Attending school on time, every day on a regular basis helps students feel better about school and themselves. Start building this habit early in kindergarten so they learn right away that going to school every day is important. We will feature important information about school attendance each week in our newsletter.
Also, we are featuring all of the amazing things happening in our classrooms on social media. You can find us at:

Our website: https://tpk8.svvsd.org/
As always, our administrative team and office team are here to support you and your children. Please reach out with any questions you might have. Thank you for your partnership and for your continued support of the Timberline Wolfpack! #powerofthepack
Best wishes,
Audrey Seybold, Principal
Leader of the Pack

September is Attendance Awareness Month
Did you know that children can fall behind academically if they miss 10% of school days? We want all students at school every day. Being in school supports students’ social, emotional and physical well-being, and provides students with opportunities to learn, achieve and to reach for their dreams.
Reporting Student AbsencesPlease notify the school office in the morning if your child will be absent. The school needs to know that your child is with you and safe. If we are unable to contact you, we must consider the absence unexcused. You can report an absence to our office by phone at 303-772-7900 or by email to [email protected]
Classroom Conferences – Save the dates – Tuesday, 10/1 and Thursday, 10/3
This spring, we will be using a Classroom Conference model. Classroom Conferences are a research and evidence based system that emerged from a grassroots effort to connect families and teachers to drive student learning. Classroom Conferences build classroom communities, increase parents’ capacity to support their students’ education, and improve students’ academic achievement.
Superintendent Town Hall Meetings
The dates for this year’s Town Hall meetings and location information can be found here. These meetings are open forums for Dr. Haddad and other district leaders to listen to our community’s questions and suggestions, share our many successes, and discuss our bold vision for the future.

PIE: Parents Involved in Education
Padres Involucrados en La Educación/Parents Involved in Education is excited to bring another year of programming to our families. PIE has been offering programming since the fall of 2008, so we are officially in our 16th school year of programming and partnership with you, SVVSD, and families.
Please see the fall calendar here for upcoming learning sessions and please help us spread the word! The next session is Tuesday, September 27th from 5:15-7:30pm with dinner served 5:15-6pm. The topic is Orientation and Integration into SVVSD. There is a hybrid option for families to join online if they cannot attend in person. PIE now offers organized and scheduled children’s activities during the parent learning session.
