Principal’s Den

Dear Wolfpack Families,

Our students in third through eighth grade have been working very hard on their state assessments, and those will be wrapping up this week! We are so proud of their efforts! Students have been earning PBIS points for being present and working hard, and they will be able to spend these points as a celebration of their efforts! Thank you for encouraging your students to do their best!

We have quite a few events this week including a track meet at Lyons on Monday, April 13th, soccer games on both Monday, April 13th and Friday, April 17th, and a 5th/6th grade Track Meet on Friday, April 17th. In addition, many of our students have artwork displayed in the St. Vrain Valley District Art Show opening this week. (See invite below.) Please join us in celebrating all of our students participating in these events.

Also, we are featuring the amazing things happening in our classrooms on social media. You can find us at:

CMAS Dates

We have our Colorado state assessments coming up! Students in grades 3-8 will be participating in CMAS April 7th-17th. Please make every effort to support your students with getting to school on time, encouraging your students to get a good nights’ rest, and to stay confident and focused as they work on the assessments. These assessments give teachers a better understanding of how students are responding to instruction over the course of the year, and we use this information to plan our next steps for instruction.

Our Cinco de Mayo event is quickly approaching. We will celebrate on Friday, May 1st with music, dance, raffle baskets and food. Please join us from 3:45-6pm at Timberline PK-8!

This is one of our largest and most popular events, and we would appreciate your support. If you would like to volunteer to help with this event, please reach out to Nancy Arroyo at [email protected].
